PFIVE is a social enterprise established with a vision to manufacture beautiful cloth bags with a multi sided business model. Our socially carved business model aspires to bring peace and prosperity to the people and planet through long term partnerships forged by trust, empathy and generosity. As the packaging industry is transitioning from plastic bags to cloth bags due to the irreparable damage caused by the former to the planet.
At PFIVE we used this noble developing industry to bring economic opportunities to the underserved communities. We strategically developed our state of the art manufacturing unit in areas which had no employment opportunities previously with a vision to generate jobs which shall help people live a dignified life.
About
300+
women
who were largely unemployed and their families poor were trained to manufacture cloth bags. Most of this women are employed by PFIVE thus helping them earn a dignified living by paying them above market wages.
We mostly prefer using recycled fabrics which reduces overall carbon footprint of our production. Thus bags made by PFIVE brings multiple positive impacts – contributing to the sustainable development of the people and the planet.
We continuously strive to contribute to the
five Ps of sustainability in the SDGs I.e. People, Prosperity, Peace, Planet and Partnerships.
PFIVE has been recognized and awarded by the government of India and various organisations for its contributions towards creating economic opportunities in underserved communities.
